HistoryThe stone jar or "genever kruik' is a bottle with a long history. The Bols family was the first to produce real high quality genevers. But did you know that the Bols family founded the company in 1575 and began by making liqueurs? The production of genever came 100 years later. Lucas Bols is still world-famous for its range of 33 liqueurs which you can get to know in House of Bols.
